Dream of Nigeria
Dream of Nigeria was the ceremony for the celebration of 50 years of Nigeria’s independence.
The show was staged in the capital Abuja before 20 heads of state in the Cultural Centre district at the foot of the Millennium Tower, symbol of the Nigeria of the future.
A spectacle of lighting, lasers, flying scenic machines, mass choreography sequences, live music and pyrotechnics was the backing for the opening speech by the Nigerian president. 300 local artists (actors, musicians and dancers) were the beating heart of the ceremony. An imposing pyrotechnic spectacle closed the ceremony and gave way to a concert that continued throughout the night featuring the most important stars of Nigerian music.
The show was created by the director Angelo Bonello, who directed the 300 local artists with an international cast of performers.
