L’AFRIFF Awards is the prize-giving ceremony of the African International Film Festival.

The evening was held in Calabar (Nigeria) on November 16, 2013, on the occasion of the final evening of the most important cinema festival in Africa.

The three hour ceremony saw the presentation of various prizes by the pop star Dary with spectacular scenes and special effects. International acrobats, light performers, Nigerian dancers, African singers, 3D animations and graphics ended in a climax of pyrotechnic effects, lights and kabuki.

The After Party was held around a large cube of Layher scaffolding with 4 cells for ballerinas covered with tulle for frontal video projection, surrounded by an LED wall with positions on platforms for another 4 ballerinas.

The evening was devised and directed by Angelo Bonello.
